This is not one for the casuals, nor is it for the people who have their diet completely locked down. It's for the people that want to start thinking reactively and acutely about their nutrition.

The first step is working out "The Action". The principle to this thought structure is having an anabolic diet that reacts to an acute stimulus.

Breakdown: Basically if you're not working out, you are not creating a negative to reverse.
The second step is timing "The Reaction". Just as most of your supplementation occurs around your workout, so should your eating. Post workout this includes carb back-loading, sodium supplementation, fluid intake and bio-available protein consumption.

Breakdown: Best general advice is to use your pancreas to your advantage by eating 90% of your carbs for the day immediately post workout, preferably high GI or fructose. Drink lots of water. Put 500mg of salt in that water. Eat an easy to digest protein source, such as beef: minimum 20g of protein.
The third step is preparation "Set Up". Now that you have your workout and post meal prepped, we can start thinking about how to get the most out of your workout. This is mainly where we make sure your body goes through as little catabolism as possible during the workout.

Breakdown: Basically this means we are going to do everything we can to keep hydrated; drink water. Keep anabolic. Ingest enough protein high in leucine. Prep muscles for contraction: sodium, potassium, vitamin D and creatine if necessary.
Hopefully you can take this work out to supp way of thinking and build your diet around it. Please contact us, if you need us, to fill in the gaps for you. At contact@sfitnessplans.com
